Ingredients

  • 15-20 large lemons (freshly squeezed-yielding 2 cups of juice)

  • 1 1/2 cups of a homemade simple syrup (see recipe below↓)

    • SIMPLE SYRUP RECIPE

    • 1 cup of organic sugar
    • 1 cup of water 
      • In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water. 
      • Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. 
      • Allow to cool. 
  • 2 cups of crushed ice or ice cubes

  • 1-2 cups of ice cold water 

  • lemon slices for garnish

  • Optional: Prosecco for the BUZZ🐝

Step 1

Juice the lemons to make 2 cups of juice.

Step 2

In a pretty gallon pitcher combine 2 cups lemon juice, 1 1/2 cups of your homemade simple syrup, +2 cups cold water, and + 2 cups of crushed ice.

Step 3

Stir. Adjust water to taste. Chill and serve over ice and prosecco if you are +a little BUZZ🐝
